Hi Everyone.

I got my DTV visa in Phnom Penh. Applied as a remote worker.

Submitted: 7th December

Received: 23rd December

On the 10th of December, it went from document check to pending approval.

No additional information was requested.

Documents:

* Passport (Irish)

* Banking statement to show relevant funds (also included my Canadian resident card in case they were confused about why I have a Canadian bank account).

* I am self-employed so submitted a letter indicating the information about my business, website etc.. along with contracts my clients have signed.

* Boarding pass, passport stamp and hotel reservation to show my current location.

Best of luck everyone. I am so happy to have this in my hand now :)

Hi all, I will go Vietnam in a few weeks for a DTV, but I am already living in Thailand (long story), the sort one is that I am married with a Thai citizen but to be 100% legal it is more convenient the DTV than the married visa (and for more reasons as well). So, my company is in the US (I am not a US citizen), and the 500K in my personal WISE account, but the address in wise is a Thai address , should be ok?/(I also has a Thai tax number, and i pay here my tax) Or is better to move the fund for example to Revolut where the address is my British home? I am quite confuse with this. Maybe the Wise account with my Thai home address can be an inconvenient more than a benefit ?

Thanks in advance .

[Phnom Penh] What would be the solution if the visa application is still pending for approval but we are allowed to stay in Cambodia only until this Sunday?

If I apply for my DTV, will my supporting documents, such as the German company registration, need to be reviewed by a German authority before being verified by the Thai Embassy? I plan to submit my application in Ho Chi Minh, and I’ve heard the process typically takes up to seven days. However, if the German documentation requires verification first, it could take significantly longer, especially since offices in Germany are closed until January 7th due to the holidays.

Hello everyone, I need help. I went to Taipei today to apply for a freelance/self employed visa. I own my own recruiting business.

But my money is credited to my personal account. And they rejected it because it's not to my company account.

Could anyone advise where I can apply for it before 27th December?

Currently in Thailand on a Tourist visa.

I run a full blown website and meet all the financial requirements... Also made a portfolio presentation to be given to the visa processing consolute..

I am from Canada and dont want to fly back home but would like to fly somewhere and apply for it at a Thai consolute in a neighboring country. I tried going to the Osaka one... but once I got there... they said I had to be a permanent resident.

Where can I go to get this accomplished? Without flying back to Canada.

Also.. im open to the idea of hiring somebody to do the application if need be..

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Halo group.

I would like your advice please.

I’m a UK citizen, currently travelling on visa exempt stamps.

I entered Thailand on October 18th and stayed for three days, for which I was stamped in and out of the country.

I entered Thailand again on November 19th, with a new stamp that is valid until January 17th, but I would like to stay an extra two weeks beyond that date, if possible.

So, my questions are …

Is it possible for me to get a 30-day extension on this current stay?

If so, when would be the best time to apply for this at an immigration office?

The answer will inform my travel planning, buying flights home, etc.

Thanks in advance for your guidance in this matter 🙏🏻
