when will the activities at the Thai embassy in Vietnam start please

Hello, I am on an Education visa which runs out in March. I want to apply for the DTV in January. Do I need to cancel Ed visa before I leave or can I cancel on my return with the DTV. I will apply in Cambodia but my flight is early Monday and immigration is closed over the weekend. I'm concerned that the DTV will not be successful as I have not officially cancelled it at immigration and I only have an exit stamp as you can't have two visas at the same time. Any advice would be welcome.

Hello, everyone. I applied for my DTV visa, soft power option, in Ho Chi Minh City on Dec 15th. After a week in the city and two further request for more documentation, I was informed that I had to wait for my my multiple entry Tourist Visa to " ...expires, and resubmit again without having to start a new application". Which leads me to my question, should I be in HCMC when I resubmit or do ya'll think I can stay in Japan where I am currently traveling. I have tried e-mailing the embassy before and hadn't gotten a response so I am crowd sourcing the answer. Thank you for any help you can give!

I am an Australian and was approved for a DTV in September. I received the approval email with QR code, however I have been unable to travel to Thailand since. The application process stated that you should only apply for a DTV if you will be arriving in Thailand within the next 3 months (which I now won't). Will they cancel my DTV if I haven't used it? Does it need to be "activated" within a certain period after obtaining it?

I arrive Thailand Monday evening from the UK, back with my partner for a month or so, she’s Thai and will be staying there until later in the year. I’m leaving Thailand end of January early February but no date set as of yet to return to the UK. I haven’t booked a return flight as yet, has anyone had any issues at immigration with not having a return ticket?. Thank you in advance.

If in fact many people are being denied entry to Thailand visa exempt as has been reported, they must be denied upon their second visa exempt entry attempt, given the start date of the 60 day change was 15 July 24. I guess it is then safe to say, after the first 60 day visa exempt entry with 30 day extension, there is no guarantee of being allowed in visa exempt a second time.

Anyone can tell me where I get re entry permit at swampy airport ?? Is it before or after immigration ??
