it doesn’t appear on the letter of rejection that an appeal process was possible, looks like we just have to start over again. Unfortunately my partner will have to drive 180 kilometres from her home to Bangkok to do this all over again.

we have a plan, I didn’t realise when she applied that we had to have all the funds to pay for a return flight etc had to be in an account 5 or 6 weeks prior to her travelling to prove funds, UK immigration asked for 6 months of bank statements from us, just thought that they wanted to see some stability. No drama, just going to transfer a big lump from another account for the d both of us, that should hopefully satisfy them. 👍

I am 58 and have a pension of around 90,000 baht a month so will eventually apply for a retirement visa, just looking more short to medium term.

I had a 30 day visa to visit my partner, I’ll be back again in September for another 30 days but whilst I am there will apply for another 60 days taking me to 90 days, I do however want to stay in Thailand over the cold winter months in the UK hence me wanting another 90 days to take me to April.
