First time 90 day report for my O retirement visa, which I have to do in person.

I will be doing this at Hua Hin main immigration office. Some sites say I can do up to 14 days before due date. Can anyone confirm this as 'friends' have said it's 7 day's. Thanks 🙏

There was a group "Australians in Thailand". It went "Read only", no posting. Anyone knows about that?

Hey everyone! 👋

Has anyone here applied for the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) from Brussels or Paris? I’d really appreciate some insight.

I meet all the main requirements except that I don’t yet have the 500,000 THB seasoned for 6 months. My apartment sale finalizes next week, and once that’s done I’ll have well over 500,000 THB in my account. My monthly income is solid, and my parents are also willing to include a sponsorship letter with an account showing more than the required amount.

I plan to include my professional portfolio, social media presence, and music royalty income statements as proof of my ongoing work and financial stability. I also have a long-term condo lease in Bangkok (I stayed about 5 months this year on a tourist visa), which I’ll attach as supporting evidence.

👉 Questions:

* How long does it usually take to get the visa approved?

* Would you recommend applying through Brussels or Paris?

* And does anyone know if they’re getting stricter about the 6-month fund requirement?

I’m hoping to apply as soon as possible before any potential policy changes. Thanks a lot in advance for any advice or recent experiences! 🙏

Hey there, does anyone know if it's a problem, if the account balance wasn't quite 500,000 for one or two days in the last three months? For example, I had 500,000 for six months, except for two days when it was maybe 490,000.

Thanks in advance 😌

Hi everyone 👋

I currently have a DTV and want to upgrade to the TrueMoney Advanced Plan. Someone here previously suggested selecting Non-O and then choosing “Freelancer” as the employer option to complete the upgrade.

However, I’m only seeing these options:

1. OWIC (Smart/Labour Card)

2. Passport with Non-Immigrant Visa (Workers)

3. Work Permit Card

4. Work Permit Book

5. Passport with Non-Immigrant Visa (Non-workers)

6. Passport with Student Visa

7. Non-Thai ID Card

8. Thai Driving License

9. Thai House Registration

Could anyone please advise which one to choose or how to proceed from here? 🙏

Hi everyone,

Is it mandatory to attach flight tickets and hotel booking proofs, or is it acceptable to simply mention the intended stay address in the application form? Also, since I’m currently residing in a different city from the address on my passport, would a rental agreement work as valid proof of my current residence?

Would really appreciate any guidance from those who’ve recently applied. Thank you! 🙏

When entering Thailand with a Non-O Multiple Entry Visa (One Year Validity - Multiple Entries.)

Would it be a current Thai immigration rule that the holder of this Non-O Multiple Entry Visa (One Year Validity - Multiple Entries.) while in Thailand has to exit after 90 days and then re-enter to obtain another 90 day stamp for that re-entry.

Can this be a land border bounce, a land border exit and re-entry after a 24 hour stay outside Thailand, or requiring an outbound flight and then an inbound flight for re-entry to Thailand.

I will be applying for the LTR WP soon and am curious about insurance requirements. I have three options. I can use VA Foreign Medical Program. Super easy to get paperwork. I can use CHAMP VA ins, a bit more difficult to get paperwork, but doable. Additionally, my Thai wife is a retired Thai government employee, and I can obtain her insurance. Which would be most prudent?

If I do not reply to your comment it is because I am having issues actually seeing comments. I am getting notifications but unable to view.
