Information for who gets online interview request: I got approved DTV last week from Ankara, Turkey. I applied in workcation category. I'm a foreigner with Turkish short-term residency. After 10 days of application, I received an email, to attend interview. The interview date and time was mentioned there. But there was also mentioned to send an email to consular.ank@mfa.go.th to get the online interview link. I sent email requesting the link, but no reply. Finally, I physically went to Thai Embassy in Ankara on the interview date. The visa officer was polite, and at first he said Sorry because they didn't reply my email. The interview was maximum 7-8 minutes. He just looked at my original documents- job contract, Bank statement, Residence permit card etc. Then said- Ok. You can go now.

I received the approval email next morning at 9:00.

So, advice to those who got such email for online interview link request. Don't wait for consular reply only.

Hi guys, I just received a response to my application that is as follows:

“We are unable to proceed further with your application as you input GBR in country of the authority that issued your passport which is not match. Your application will be cancelled and you need to reapply. All visa fees are not refundable.”

This is just not true as this is not the information I entered.

Has anyone else encountered this?

For additional context, it is a Nigerian passport, but my last renewal was done at the embassy in Vilnius, so I put in Lithuania as the place of issue as it appears on the passport. Now I wonder if I’m supposed to have typed in Nigeria. This part is always confusing. I applied from London as I live here now.

Hi! I'm unfortunately applying from KL. 2 questions about the Certificate of Employment:

1. What to include: other than the basics from a template is there something KL is going to require?

2. I'm US citizen for a US company, do I need to bring the docs to US embassy in KL to certified them? Anyone has any experience doing so?

I entered Thailand on an ED visa and was given 90days before I need to go to immigration to extend. If I plan to leave Thailand for an extended period of time(months or years) do I need to cancel the ED visa with immigration before I leave or will it just naturally expire without issue?

Hi, I have an interview in Laos (Vientiane) next week, where do I go? To the same window that I went to pay the 10k in cash? Or other building?

Also if you had an interview in Vientiane with soft power document please let me know how it went and what they ask.

I and my wife(both over 50) want to apply for 1 year non-O-A retirement visa in home country(Hong Kong). I want to know that can we extend our non-O-A visa annually inside Thailand? What is the requirement for application of the extension?

Can I submit multiple bank accounts? Otherwise my savings over 500k and payments are in different accounts— anyone just summited just savings and got approved?
