Is there anyone got approved DTV visa while waiting only one month after being rejected from Cambodia and apply again in Vietnam ?

I heard some of people said it should wait for at least 3 months after rejection to apply again?

Ok, dreading to make this post for a while, but I assume it is always good to ask . So I finally got my act together (mid) last month and submitted the DTV. I filled everything out as it was supposed to be recommended, I even put together an 80 page portfolio out of nowhere.

I was already set back like one week because I asked something about the e-visa form which prevented me from filling it out correctly. After one week I got a six word response, no hello, good bye, in black letters on blue background. It looked like a 90s video game. That was already superweird.

Anyway, I tried to do everything by the book and I applied in Hong Kong, I have enough money, earnings, no extensive stay, overstay in TH, blabla.

Yes, I have also read the relevant sections here in this group, I think at least three times, I am also 100% sure I filled out everything correctly, but anyway I seem to have been a victim of that page 2 to page 4 conversion that I just forgot about. (There was only one number missing, I'm perfectly sure that was not me).

Nothing happened for two weeks, then I got this nice standard letter.

So, yes, put on all your snarky comments in there, I am over it. It happened already like a few days ago or something. After crying in bed for two days, revisiting all my life's failures and misfortunes and whatnot, considering other options (still do) I mean what can you do, life must go on, I guess I'll give it one more try:

So my questions would be these:

* (I guess there is no appeal process or anything)?

* I guess I can apply again, also under the workcation category, cos it was nothing substantial. I would strongly prefer applying under that category cos that's what I do, like I don't want to be questioned about some cooking course or whatever...?

* If it is strongly recommended I can apply in Hong Kong again, but if it's any possible, I would like to avoid that for several reasons (don't want to cluster up the thread more than I already have). I mean my main bank account, permanent resident, broker etc. are all in HK. I don't keep a permanent home in HK anymore though. I could rent another apartment on the monthly or something, but even that would cost me quite a bit more than mostly anywhere else. ?

* Is there any other, maybe friendly embassy/consulate somewhere, where I don't need to be a resident, don't need to have company (I am self-employed, stock market trading, I have enough history, income)? I am somewhat flexible with regard to location...

Thanks for reading and maybe any helpful pointers

Advice o applying for a non o retirement visa? Online from Australia or wait until I get to Thailand and use an agent? If I apply and get accepted in Australia there is only one embassy here, do they know at the airport when I arrive in Bangkok that I have been approved? Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

My fiancé has her K-1 visa interview tomorrow morning at the US Embassy in Bangkok. Has anyone’s fiancé gone through the K-1 Visa interview process recently ? If so, could you share questions that were asked ? Thanks !
