that's normal tourist traveling around Thailand and the neighboring countries. They only allow 2 entries via land borders per year, so fly every other one

if your smart you will visit Cambodia Malaysia or Vietnam for 1 week or two and then come back to Thailand for another 30 days

No advantage to getting 60 day visa if you will be traveling to nearby countries every 15 to 30 days

If you live full time in Thailand you will get homesick fast. I suggest you do 6 months in Thailand and 6 months at home. You get the jeep you love half a year, she gets her farmer village half a year. Win win!

See an agent, they will lend you the 800,000 baht for the first year. Then start sending 65,000 baht a month to your bank account so you can renew the visa

Thailand starts to review your passport when you have many pages full of Thailand exemption stamps back to back. You should be good, as most tourists go back and forth a few weeks at a time and then go back home

Wait till you see the line at customs, after a plane from Philippines, China and South Korea land at the same time at midnight. That's when you realize they don't care much about how much money you bring, as long as you brought a ATM card to spend money!!!

Do not use Google voice, most banks will not send you codes after 30 days when they see the number is on a VOIP service. Google Voice can also suspend your account at any time, and there's no support team to help you get your number back.

Get Mint or Tello and use with wifi dialing. Their only $10 to $15 a month. Tello will let you activate a sim over wifi. Sign up on their website or order a sim from Amazon or eBay for $2 and port in your number from consumer cellular. Tello doesn't send you a bill so they don't have to add $25 of state and federal cell phone bill taxes like consumer cellular does.

Good luck. Embassy can deny tourist visas if you doing them back to back as a way to live there. Your best bet is to travel to nearby country for a few weeks and fly back for another exemption. Multiple back to back exemptions will also get you questioned and possibly denied entry
