my non-o got approved the day after I arrived. Did a border bounce after finding a house to rent.. then back account, buy car, etc ...

you postponed? Why didn't you just come in on 60day exempt and then once your visa is approved, do a border bounce to activate it?

They also seem to prioritize by departure date. Be patient. If you haven't received a rejection, you're good.

The tricky thing for you will be to open a Thai bank account on tourist visa. You need 800k in Thai bank account to apply for non-o in country.

For about 5-6k you can take a nice shared van for the day. All inclusive, guided, etc. visa place in front of Condochain. They go at least once a week. Easy peasy.

why not buy the car and then go to the provincial capital DLT in your province to get new plates for the car there when you transfer ownership? No need to go to DLT in Bangkok unless you're living there.

your ticket is outside the 60 days of your visa exempt status. It is even outside of the 90 days if you were to get an extension. Note that 90 days is not 3 months. It's actually 89 nights starting with the first night of your arrival.

Purpose of a non-o is to them get a 1yr extension based on 1 of several reasons. Is not intended for tourist travel.
