I went to KBank in EmQuartier and had zero problems getting a bank account. I am pretty sure they also asked to see another form of ID beside my stamped passport.

You can come to Thailand for 60 days and extend another 30 days without a visa. Take your 2 week course. You don’t need a DTV.

 once a yr from entry. You could leave the country once a year and never report to immigration.

I went to KBank in EmQuartier on the 3rd floor at the Phrom Phong BTS and didn’t have a problem. I had to show my hotel reservations and passport with with stamp and E-Visa PDF printout.

 overseas income is tax exempt with the LTR. I stay in Thailand all year and only have to report once a year.
