opening bank accounts here seems to be hit and miss we were lucky we found SCB and they did straight away but i have heard of other friends here having problems another walked into a Bangkok Bank branch abd was welcomed with open arms and yes we can help maybe you just need to try the hit miss approach good luck

Thai Elite is really just another version of Retirement Visa but as and example i am Aussie if we dispose of all assets in australia meaning everything that has your name in it your then become a tax exile and as we live here in a TE or Retirement visa you are not allowed to work therefore earn money and therefore you dont pay tax obviously i have no idea if your country follows the stupid rules they impose on US citizens whereby doesn’t matter where you live you must pay US taxes what a fucked up system

more then likely a villa owned by a retiree and therefore no tax id as not allowed to work or earn income but they still all rent their properties out on Airbnb like this....

not sure what u mean but as far as i know if i on retirement visa u cannot earn a baht in thailand from anyone xx bringing your own funds in for personal expenses is allowed i been doing it for 15 yrs like all my other mates xx i am not talking about interest here that’s incidental in 800k buys me a bottle of nice wine
