. It was with regards to your attachment not to your comments within the Post. I am merely explaining the fact that you do not need to obtain Business Visa's for going to Business Meetings in Thailand as the Government has already issued a Directive on this issue.

Actually you do not need to do anything as The Government has issued a Directive and being the higher Legislature it is that what counts. If you were in the unlikely event arrested a good Lawyer referencing the Governments Directive will quickly be able to resolve the issue.

Unfortunatly the issue here is, is with all Laws in Thailand. Legislative Drafters write the Law to encompass Ambiguity so that you can move around within the Legislation and the Judge can interpret it how he sees fit.

This article is not true and is encroaching on causing issues for the Thai Government.

The Border Immigration and the Internal Immigration Departments are not linked by a Database. That is why the Internal Immigration Department keeps asking for you to report your address within 24 Hours of you returning to your registered address. It's actually the Landlords responsibility to register you as returning. However, that responsibility nearly always falls onto the Foreignor. Also dependent on where you live different Immigration Offices interpret the Rules differently......Most in Isaan don't want you to come and notify them of your address.

Thank God you didn't say 100% lol. Sorry. But it's Ban Laem / Daung Cambodia and it's under 2 hours including Ferry from Koh Chang. Its not used a great deal But there is a great place to buy cheap alcohol there and a Casino.

If you are going from Koh Chang you can go to Ban Laem Thai/Cambodian Border Crossing. Its not far from Koh Chang and is the nearest Border Crossing from there.

Yes. But within 24 hours of arriving back to your Registered Address the owner of the property where you are registered must inform Immigration of your return. However, it generally falls on the Foreignor to do. Fine is 500 Baht per Day for not reporting your return to the registered address
