Aussie here with Burmese partner, based in Chiang Mai. We need 30 days before we receive our education visas. We’ve done two entries thru laos this year also on 60 day visas and are currently on one now. What options do we have? Tia.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian expat and their Burmese partner, currently based in Chiang Mai, are seeking options to extend their stay for 30 days while waiting for their education visas. They have previously entered Thailand twice through Laos on 60-day visas and are now looking for alternatives. Suggestions from the community include considering a visa extension at Promenada for 1900 Baht for an additional 30 days, or exiting and re-entering the country to reset their visa status.

Fly in if you've done 2 land border crossings. Burmese you have to apply at Embassies. So an idea would be to fly into Lao ?
