Hi Sid! You need to stop by and get the bike inspected( if over 5 yrs old) at any of the hundreds of shops w a blue and yellow sign that looks like a sprocket. Take your green book. Stop across the street from the dmv and get your govt insurance. Take all that and the book into the dmv.

that was my experience. My 1st retirement extension was 2 totally different sets of requirements at the Houston Consulate and Jomtien Immigration.

They probably take debit card or credit cards. Quite sure they would escort you to an atm should the need arise and you dont want to take cash with you.

I believe it is universal. Did that w AirAsia before and Thai. Took a while and a couple of calls w Thai to get the refund.

I believe you meant you are going to "stay" in Chiang Mai as you cannot Liv ein Thailand with a tourist visa.

That being said a one way from DMK to Phnom Pen should be cheap.

Food for thought, you can cancel the flight within 24 hours for a full refund.

Ironic you should mention spam.....Mott’s Visa Service spammed me 5 minutes before I read this 5en told me they have “no idea” how this happened as they only message people they know or work with.

uhhh, passport full of stamps from Thailand over the last 8 yrs, not sure I want to risk being turned away at a land crossing.

I understand you can have 2 land entries per year, but ...........

that does not address the 3 weeks in December after my visa expires. Can pursue that if I dont have it fixed before then.
