New to Facebook? This is typically what you get in response. A few helpful people who also know what they’re talking about, even more people who want you to think they know what they’re talking about, but actually have little idea, and then a s%!t ton of people who are just here for the fun of it.
I would think asking the people at the wat you work with would be a better starting point than a Facebook thread.
Then again, you’re starting this thread talking about bizarre assumptions and here you are talking about un-Buddhist behavior and making your own assumptions that you somehow know better than them what is good for their country.
I do not drive here due to different driving rules so I either walk or use taxis to get anywhere. Grab & Bolt (which is cheaper) have been great. One thing with bolt, double check your pick up location. Not always accurate. Also I was unable to add a visa card to my Grab account due to different security protocols. I had no problem with American Express. I have been unable to add a credit card to Bolt so I just pay with cash.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Couple of questions if you don’t mind. Does the copy of the departure card need to be front and back, and does my information need to be filled in on it? Currently it is blank with a stamp on the back. And I also do not currently have a departure flight. Sounds like I need to book one prior to going for the extension? Next part of that question, if you know, is does that flight need to be my actual departure flight, or am I able to change it so long as I am out prior to the expiration date, which I easily will be. I’ll be attempting this in Sukhothai rather than Phuket. Thanks in advance.
