Big thank you to this group for helping me realize it's not hard to get the 30 day visa extension. It's been posted and commented several times but I'll share my story so ppl have more evidence that it's pretty easy and manageable.
I went today in Phuket, start to finish took a smidge over 1 hr total. Could have been faster but I took my time filling out the form and looking for the passport photo spot, lol.
1. Copies made at hotel
- 1 copy passport data page
- 1 copy departure card
- 1 copy passport entry visa stamp
2. Arrived 8:55 am go to Suite 101 on bottom level in front of bldg
Phuket Immigration
482 Phuket Rd, Tambon Talat Yai, Mueang Phuket District, Phuket 83000, Thailand
3. Grab TM 7 form if you didn't print one online
4. Fill it out while you're waiting for passport pics or info line if it's not already filled out
5. 100 baht for 6 passport photos all the way around the back of the lot, sign only says photo copies but they do both.
6. Sign every copy
7. Go through information line to get a #
8. Wait for your # to be called, watch the tv screen monitor
9. Give them your documents, pay 1900 baht cash only
10. Wait for them to call you back to the counter and say yr done when they give you back your passport with the new stamp giving 30 more days in the country based on arrival date in Thailand 🙌🏾
Started getting more crowded around 9:30 but not terrible. Come at 8:30/9:00 if possible.
