It is a small charge and my Kasikorn branch provides a year statement while I am sitting there. Others though have to wait several days. Best to know now your particular bank’s procedure.
All of this points to the wisdom of applying for your yearly extension as early as your immigration office allows, 30 or 45 days. If you have never obtained a yearly statement then just get one now to familiarize yourself with your bank’s process
90 day reports are free and you can do it in a 3 week window from 2 weeks before it is due to 1 week after. If you are going to be in the immigration office anyway then just ask or just do it.
If you are in Thailand and have a valid OA visa then you can extend it for one year from the date of your permission to stay stamp in your passport. Visit your house immigration office for the requirements.
Yes but if he never left Thailand (likely during Covid) then the entry stamp and the visa expiration (also assuming insurance) should be the same date.
Yes, he can extend an OA at the end of his first year while in Thailand. An OA has a one year expiration date. An extension would be an extension of that original visa.
Interesting. That means these days arriving with an OA but not having insurance means you can enter visa exempt.
I remember when I was in the 2nd year of my OA with a multiple entry permit that I couldn’t kill the OA until I was past my permission to stay date. There was no insurance requirement at that time.
