If you are currently in ASQ hotel for 15 days, and when time is over, and you are heading to another area like Khon Kaen for example, would you then have to quarantine at home as well, or are you ok to continue a normal life ???
maybe they should disallow people to drive their cars/trucks for a few days as well to save a lot more lifes than what covid takes! BKK would also be able to clean out the air as well!
what does the Thai Govt do for all the people/hotels/bars and businesses that have closed and all the lost jobs? any stimulus to make people survive for more than 1 day?
there are a lot of different paper works that needs to be handled to get a visa,, and then the 14 day quarantine in a assigned hotel of your choosing that will run 1000-2000usd pending your budget, with very little time allowed to leave the room during the stay,,,
currently a pretty long process, visa, fit to fly, covid,,,but also a 14 day quarantine for anyone arriving,,which will cost you between

baht,,,depending on your hotel of choice,,so about 1000-2000usd for hotel,,before you can go out and visit Thailand,,,,and of course,,,anything can change, as they have made changes, but the quarantine time has not really moved all as of now,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I realize many people like myself that can afford it, but of principle will NOT spend the money/quarantine time. And when towns like HH where I have a condo like many other Farangs, that is now drowning and businesses closing daily because the normal crowd is not there to spend the money. So please tell me when it flourishes again, because a town like this cannot survive, and all my friends that stayed is saying it is empty. Golf courses are empty, bars and restaurants are either closed or empty, trying to entice the few that are there to come and play for 700-800 baht which certainly does not make places survive. Good Luck to All!
