I realize many people like myself that can afford it, but of principle will NOT spend the money/quarantine time. And when towns like HH where I have a condo like many other Farangs, that is now drowning and businesses closing daily because the normal crowd is not there to spend the money. So please tell me when it flourishes again, because a town like this cannot survive, and all my friends that stayed is saying it is empty. Golf courses are empty, bars and restaurants are either closed or empty, trying to entice the few that are there to come and play for 700-800 baht which certainly does not make places survive. what I was saying was that this whole idea is cooked up by the govt, and regardless of who is collecting most of the money, it's price gouging at the highest proportions, and it will not be popular by most people.

I'm referring to snow birds coming for 3 months and up to 6-7 months, and not those that are working, school, diplomats etc...22k arriving. With only 5-6 carriers having flown inbound the last 4-5 months is highly unlikely...anyway we will see how it goes...will be interesting to see if popular tourist towns will be flooded by Europeans coming in for 3months and more. I doubt it very much.

$100K,,that is out of control!

The price the govt is charging to go thru all these hoops, quarantine is out of control, and that's why very few are not opting for this game. I've been a property owner for over 12 years, myself and others in my complex of 32 units in HuaHin are waiting until the govt hopefully wakes up and start the normal process whenever that might be, sooner than later I hope. Good Luck to anyone that wants to spend the money,,,

No one in numbers will come until normal arrival process has been re-established!
