truthfully your advice is unfriendly and unreasonably -unwise.

Based soley on your comment you likely have not been stuck living here for the last 1.5 year(s) due to covid-19. And if you have then you're just being blatantly insensitive.

There are a variety, unlimited variable reasons why many cannot just "go home" to get a visa extension. Many of us cant.

The laundry list is too long to list here- and my thumbs don't have the energy to examine and explain to you basic understanding of covid-19 circumstances.

If you think people are just being "here" because the weather is good and abusing covid-19 visa extension for leisure then truthfully speaking you're alseep.
