Danang,enough to do,incredible food great beach,hoi an is 30 minutes drive,it’s half the price of Thailand,the coffee is amazing as is the craft beer,excellent accommodation for 1000 baht or less,I went there for my last visa run and didn’t want to leave,also cheaper to get there than your other choices

fly to a neighbouring country and either apply for a tourist visa or re enter on visa exempt,providing you haven’t had too many this year

so what’s the proper visa for a 43 year old that only ever stays 2 to 3 months at a time then goes back to uk for work commitments that can take anything from 1-3 months,as far as I’m aware there isn’t 1,tourist visa has been my best option and been fine until recently,I didn’t need to return to the uk so I’ve been travelling Vietnam and Laos for the last 5 weeks but I know want to go back to Thailand,I was waiting for the new DLT that Thailand proposed last month but nothing has happened with that,so I now want to return to Thailand and then maybe convert to a more appropriate visa once I’m there and the new visas are available.

if you want 90 days it’s either apply for a tourist visa and get an extension or wait for the 60 day exempt to be issued and again get an extension
