It should be a fresh 180 days each time, but there was a post where someone did what your going to do and they kept the original date. If I was you I'd return after the original one expires and guarantee a fresh stamp.

1900tb extension fee plus proof of 500tb as per my visit to immigration plus TM30. Or bounce to laos was the other suggestion.
