You never mentioned a category, you gave a blanket statement with no reference, I gave reference, please read all and refer to facts, people are confused enough.
you need to read the rules and listen to what's being said, proof of work is one requirement under DTV1, you shouldn't be telling people they don't need things they do need when referring to finances.
I'm doing the same thing, central Thailand is the hottest part though, one day in April the car showed 49c, riding the scooter, the air burned your eyes and throat, aircon was a must, now in July it's still in the 30's, 2 weeks ago 39c. It's cooling now we're hitting rainy season and much more tolerable. Issue is there are extremes globally so was this year a one off or the new norm!
It beats the cold winters hands down.
I'm planning on staying myself.
Pm me if you have any on the ground questions.
A 10 day monsoon is due right now and the skies are dramatic 😃
The confusion came out of saying it was 10k per year, follow what Frank us saying. Don't worry about the calendar year and 365 days v 180 x 2 being 360 it's not relevant. It's still a 5 year visa for 10k. extendable or bounce for another 180 days at applicable costs.
But, if your unemployed and apply on what basis! Then your unemployed in Thailand and can't work in Thailand. You need to sort out employment and cash flow.
