Hi everyone!

I have applied for the DTV visa workation from London & received this message today "(- Your recent (balance within last 30 days ) personal UK/Ireland bank statement shows your name, your UK/Ireland address, and a minimum closing balance of 11,000 GBP . Document has to be in full details please. )"

I already provided them a bank statement showing more than 11000 GBP as total balance, the 30 days date, my name & full address. I did hide my total outgoings and total deposits as well as all transactions throughout the month.

What details do you think I should add when reuploading the statement? Thank you in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a DTV visa workation and received a request for a full bank statement without any redactions. Despite providing a statement showing more than 11,000 GBP, they had initially hidden total outgoings, deposits, and transactions. Comments from the community emphasized that the visa application requires transparency, advising against redactions, and suggesting the user upload the complete unedited bank statement. Additionally, they noted that the minimum required balance in Thai Baht might need to be higher.

London embassy does not require that. Nor does anyone need your ‘facepalm’ cartoon or people laughing at others posts. It’s not a good look, especially when your comments are incorrect.
