I am Dutch, and currently based in The Netherlands. I have a Dutch bank account with more than the required 500k THB in it, registered on my Dutch address. I will apply at the Thai embassy in The Netherlands.
However, I wonder what to submit to satisfy the 'purpose of visit: workaction' requirement.
I used to live in Bulgaria. There, I set up a Bulgarian company. I still use this to this day to receive my income from my YouTube channel (which is my main source of income). It's just a basic LLC type company with a single owner (me).
I have a business bank account for this company, which is registered on an address in Bulgaria. I don't have any clients I work for, it's just for my YT channel (AdSense; sponsorships payments).
Questions I have:
- Would it be enough to provide screenshots from my YouTube channel to satisfy the workcation requirement?
- Would I need to write a letter on behalf of the company that I as an individual am allowed to work remotely?
- Or would I have to submit all kinds of company documents like deed of incorporation etc (which are in Bulgarian...)?
good morning! I have a real estate agency of which I am the owner, I manage rentals and remote assistance, I would like to apply for a dtv visa, in your opinion in the required documentation, should I make a letter of assignment myself? it sounds ridiculous
I'm filling out an online DTV workcation category application as a self employed small business owner. In the "professional portfolio" section for supporting documents, should i just merge all the documents i want to provide as proof of having a business in one PDF file and attach it? Do i need to provide an outline or add notes to that PDF to make it easier to navigate? Should I add my cover letter there as well because there is no separate field for it?
Has any US business owner submitted their DTV application using their normal corporation documents without having them authenticated with the US embassy? Only due to time constraints I want to get my application in and I've read it could take months to have them all authenticated.
Approved from the Thai Embassy Canberra, Australia - Workation category.
Documents submitted:
- Cover letter explaining business and nature of my work.
- Screenshot of Google Search results of my business
- Screenshot of my work portfolio
- Most recent invoice
- Profit and Loss statement
- Balance sheet
- Australian Business Registration certificate
Financials
- Cover letter explaining net worth
- Bank statements verifying letter
My thoughts:
- Make it easy; embassy staff don't wanna decode your unexplainable waffle of documents. Number the subsequent pages in your cover letter and explain their reasoning/purpose.
- The nature of the visa is discretionary, so build an image of your entite situation as if you're building a legal case (as you are, in many regards)
- Meaningful proof is the most important. You can't fake a strong online presence or a long-lasting business registration.
- Use an online tool to condense and compile your PDFs
Good morning, okay now I'm going to be in Taipei in November so I'm thinking I'm just going to apply while I am there fingers crossed that it can still be done in person in one day.
I have a few things I might be worried about till I was wondering if anyone could give me the email address for the Consulate in Taipei I'm legally blind and seem to be struggling to find it
Some potential concerns I have.
I own my own as Corporation registered business within the US what documents is it that I need to provide to show that that is my source of income.
Do I need to prove source of income because I just do s distributions as needed so it is not a consistent payment schedule.
I have just changed Banks with my main account so therefore I do not have 6 months of active statements I have other bank accounts where there's less activity to no activity.
