can you give me details ,please.im visually impaired and unable to use online for visa from Thailand London Embassy but if possible join at Udon Thani to stay over in Vientiane for Embassy access ,plus the accomodation.
It's all very well advising people to get a longer Visa before travel but not all of us have full vision or capability to make the online visa application the Embassy requires now .I'm retir,ed and live alone in UK ,could only stay with my Thai partner 75 days till mid Jan as incompetent UK medical insurance firm issued required cover too late for notarisation and submission for oa visa when I had online assistance no longer available.Avoid IMG like the plague.
Thanks ,Tony .I went to my nearest Nationwide branch on Monday and was told they couldn't do a monthly transfer when I get back to Thailand .I have works pension and form for it to transferred direct in due course and needed to keep state pension in Nationwide to pay a small continuing direct debit and get balance transferred.
I use Nationwide but they don't do foreign bank transfer so will arrange for both pensions to transfer to Bangkok Bank branch direct .Payment are separate days of each month.
If apply 1 year o a in UK suggest avoid getting the medical insurance cover I'd avoid IMG of Redhill; totally incompetent and could only stay 75 days . Reported to their regulator and continuing complaint will go to Ombudsman.
