TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a tourist visa extension in Bangkok, the TM6 arrival/departure card is generally not required for air arrivals, as it has been canceled for over a year. However, if you entered Thailand by land, you may still need a TM6. Additionally, ensure to check with local immigration regarding the need for a TM30 form from your hotel.
i noticed that earlier this week when returning to Thai…Airport Immigration also didnt seem to care where I was staying. (I am on Retirement visa). I know it is classed as day 1 but I thought I would try to ‘recomfirm’ my address via the 90 day onlime portal, but it was not accepted as it said the reporting was not due yet. I am staying in same condo, so is the above normal now without the TM6?
