Be aware that I’ve been told several times that teachers age out at 60 in Thailand. I’ve been on the journey of trying to find where I’d like to land since I left teaching in the states and have a TEFL as well. Most suggestions are to open my own language school so ageism isn’t an issue. I’m 57.
I’m US. Can do visa on arrival. Just best to have perfect US dollars, and I mean perfect, to buy it. They rejected two of my bills. It was easy. I was worried for nothing. I got through in 10 min.
I don’t know your age, but I was told there is a cut off of 60 for more legitimate positions. I haven’t tried it, but that what my TEFL program warned me of. Best of luck. (I’m a retiring teacher of 3 decades in the US)
