If you are only going for two weeks and Italy is visa-exempt then you can fly in without a visa and you get 30 days free, all you will need is to fill in a COE and be vaccinated and have a test no more than 74 hours before departure

I am interested in this 60 day emergency Covid extension you are talking about, I will find this out tomorrow, lets hope that is true, I am like you I would like to stay for as long as I can, at least until next year. Where are you traveling from , what country ?

apparently you can get two 30 day extensions, I am not 100% sure on this until I clarify it with the Thai Embassy here tomorrow

One thing I have learned in life listen to all advice available then make up your own mind, if everything didn’t have some sort of risk then life would be boring , a calculated and educated risk will win out every time in my book, do your research and ask questions then weigh it all up and decide from that. I am going to Thailand and using the sandbox because I am vaccinated and it seems like an interesting adventure

I am right now dwelling on the same concern, I want to use the sandbox and arrive on the 20th of July, but I don't want to apply for a visa, I want to go there on a visa-exempt, I am going to Thailand to meet my fiance from the Philippines but how long we can stay is very important as we will marry in Thailand and return to the Philippines together, this is my ticket to get back home. I had been living with her for over 5 years before I got stuck in Australia. It looks like we can extend up to 90 days after arriving on a visa exempt, but I am wanting to stay a lot longer
