I get it. We all make mistakes though. I didnt know it was a 5 year ban and the OP probably didnt either.

Crikey i bet theres a few overstayers spread around the country. Have to follow the rules though.

If I was the OP I would go to the Thai Embassy in Turkey and ask them if anything can be done.

24 Hours. Thats all it took me online for tourist visa last year. You need to be tech savvy though.I paid a couple of backpackers to do mine. Had visa the next day.

Takes 1 day to open an account in Phuket. Cost 5300 baht. You get some insurance thrown in.

I don't get home sick. This is home ! People really need to consider why they are moving here in the first place. I would suggest spending 6months to a year here before making the jump.
