@Charlotte *******
, Okay. I just wanted to point OP on this Tourist visa.

It's also a 60 day tourist visa but multi entry and valid for a half year instead of 3 months with the 60 day tourist visa single entry.

Not always
@Char*****
and
@Li**
. There is a half year long multi entry tourist visa ! You can stay max. 60 days in Thailand and then each entry gives you 60 day stay again. This for a half year. So if you leave Thailand just before the expire date and come back, you can almost 9 months from this visa.

:

So far I did it all by myself after I got this paper as an example from another Dutch guy.

I transfer every month an amount in Euro to my Bangkok bank account as international transfer. That transfer amount in Thai Baht, I print every month. I made a spread sheet with those 12 amounts (to caculate my tax) and go to the Revenue office. They fill in a so called PND91 with the total year amount and the deductions (100k฿ for everyone, 60k฿ per family (official) member, only me in this case and 190k฿ deduction because I am 65 year plus). First tranch in their system of 150k฿ is zero %. So I have a total deduction of 500k฿. If you transfer e.g. 700k฿ in a year, than it's only 5% next 150k฿ and 10% over the last 50k฿. Then I pay and buy a legal copy of that PND91 for 18฿ 🤭. With that I could get that RO22 document. In another Revenue office though 🙄. I only need this document every 5 year to get tax exemption in the Netherlands.

I needed a so called RO22 document. After paying (a bit 😉) tax in a revenue office, I could ask this document in another revenue office. For me at least, you cannot get it for coffee money.

Still can do the 'in-country' non imm o
@Pe***
during y'r stay ! And when you have that, after about 60 days, can apply for the year extension. Don't forget the re-entry permit when you have the year extension and you want to leave and come back.

Or, if it's only 3 months max. , apply for a tourist visa. You can stay 60 days with a possibility to extend for 30 days.
Peter ****************
I think with US passport she only has visa exempt for 30 days or needs a visa ?

What
@Stu***
says and send him/her also a copy of y'r bankbook and debitcard (Hope you have that at least)

When had covid, did not have to pay university hospital bill of 54,000฿ for 12 days of recover/quarantaine. Is was because of the yellow book/pink ID card. Also more proof of residence for e.g. tax purposes, car on y'r name (no certificate of residence needed most of the times) etc.

I don't know if it's still needed
