No one knows yet. By end of week we will all know... I went today on the (in my opinion small) chance it isn't extended since my expiry was a week later anyway.

the issue of Jan 25th is the processing date. Extensions before then will be valid for 60 days from previous expiry. My expiry was Jan 31st. I went today and new stamp is April 1

you're completely wrong. Fine is 500 baht a day and unless you grossly overstay it doesn't even affect return to Thailand lol. Much less any other country.
