 yes he's obtained inside Thailand. For some reason banks won't grant a person a bank account if the Non O was granted inside Thailand. Ive seen this before. My opinion that's all.

But clarified by the OP he obtained from US so its weird

 strange. Your stamp is 90 day? If so go to the k bank with all your documents and ask for the manager. By the way I paid insurance but cancelled it after 2 months. My bank account is 13 years old
