My point was more the tenant can often help after it's not that hard and also often enough to explain it won't take any real effort and effect tax in life it's about finding solution not making problems

Yes if do it yourself then you will have to show rental contract owner's I'd with signature on it and most also want a copy of the tittle deed with signature on it they want an original signature on each copy paperwork

Many landlords would not know how to do it and also are scared to do it after they think then tax will come after them but that is not the case anyways it's a bit late not for the OP

Your landlord should do it for you and you should provide passport photo visa and stamp photo.

Your landlord should first make a registration and would receive and email there often can end up in the Spam mail box first after that the landlord can register you

It's based on the location of where the work was carried out and it's a old fashion system and law but that's what is written black on white in teh law itself after it was done way before there was anything called digital nomade or work in general as it stands really ght now it's illegal by law that many see doing and they often don't enforce it doesn't change the fact of the law in itself.

Last time after the law is done way beforehand there was anything called a digital nomade it's stated out from the location that the work is carried out and that would be Thailand so it's not about who you work for and what yo are doing of work but down to you are in Thailand and doing the work from Thailand.

I don't want to use energy the fact is simple work is work and there by you need work permit one day they might make a visa for the low level digital nomade but for know the only visa for people who are specialized in afield there has been tslk about it for so many years I they would make a visa for digital nomade but it haven't happen yet and untill that it will remain illegal to work without the right visa and of course work permit then you can try to justify it from here to teh moon but it won't change anything about teh fact's
