Just come with tourist visa, free visa exempt, then renew with that visa, until your married paper process done, before your last visa end, you can apply Immigration for Thai wife marriage visa, they need you to have Thai Bank bank under your name for 2 months, before you can apply it, 400,000 baht, no movement lower than that before you can apply marriage visa

If u stay longer and renew visa or do 90days report, immigration ask you to show, then u need it

Some small hotel, hostel ignore to do it, you can report their property name to immigration that they don't do it

Normally in Bangkok rental pratice and most be in Lease Agreement is if you leave before lease end, owner will seize both 2 months deposit, also you have to pay last bill of rental fee, water, electricity.

Police can record what you do and immigration police can involve as you register TM30 on owner property.

If possible, just settle with them when you can pay it back to them, may be later when you can be able, running away is not help
