Just use an agent, everything done same day. I can't believe people would fly out and back in with all the expenses of doing that. I came to Thailand on visa exemption from Australia . Yes an agent cost about $28,000b and your bank account is opened the same day and you can start using it straight away
I'm from Australia and used bank to bank to transfer to Thailand then tried wise until they closed my account for no reason,it took some time to get my money out of them, then tried torfx but found at the end of the day bank to bank was the best way, there transfer rate is a little less but less charges at bbk end
Ya mate, just come to Thailand on tourist visa and as soon as you get to Thailand go see a agent and get a mon 0 visa they do everything for you.
Just give them your passport and they take you to immigration and take photo take you to a bank and take photo and open a bank account, they put the 800k in your account for immigration and then take out again and leave about $500b in your account that you can spend .
In about two to three weeks you go back and get your passport and visa stapled inside.
I am so glad I used a agent no stress and super easy
ya AXA Thailand , I went 27days visa exempt going back March on mon O A . I got home today and f**king government change rules again now I'm home quarantine 14days so know Xmas for me grrr
I had the same experience flying from Australia with Singapore Airlines to bkk and on to Pattaya for test and go, everything ran smoothly and there was always someone to help
I used AXA insurance they send you a certificate stating covid cover and stayed at bestbella Pattaya in Pattaya. They do everything for you but you don't have to stay there for one night you only have to stay in room until test comes back , mine took about 6hrs . The hospital ring your room and you can go if you want
