Just a quick update on my travel from the Lax to Bangkok on Singapore airlines.

Departed Tom Bradley international airport on 08/12/2021 at 2230. Our plane was delayed by 30 minutes due to some people being denied boarding and there luggage had to be removed. I arrived at the airport 4 hours early and check in was already in progress but there was no line.

All that was requested was Thailand pass, passport, RT PCR test results and vaccination card. Nothing to it and no questions asked. At boarding gate no documents were checked or questions asked. Flight was almost entirely full with just a few middle seats open (A350 900).

The international Airport was also very crowded with people everywhere. Arrived in Singapore was no different than before covid, you could go wherever you wanted and no one asked any questions. There was just a short layover so the flight to Bangkok boarded rather quickly. Passport and boarding pass was required to board flight but nothing else and no questions were asked. Flight was maybe half full, had a row to myself but flight was only 2 hours long.

As described in other posts arrival in Bangkok is simple and organized, have all your paperwork out and just walk to you find the chairs where you sit and friendly people will organize and check your paperwork and put it in your passport to give to immigration/passport control.

No questions asked just do your finger prints when prompted on the machine and off you go. Immigration was busy as there must of been some other arrivals but only about 20 minutes.

My flight arrived just before noon and my driver was waiting downstairs after I picked up my luggage and purchased a sim card.

All very organized and easy. Driver stopped at the hospital on the way to the Movenpic hotel and the covid test was performed while I sat in the van. Negative test results in 4 hours.
