I always do it early , 3 months early , I do Feb it expires in May , but I just like to get it done ..

Which makes the entire concept even more ridiculous, why throw 10 k a month down a drain , it's just a systematic , legal , deception , exactly why Warren Buffett likes buying insurance companies ..complete waste of money .

Avoid altogether if you can , if you can't buy the absolute least expensive .

Why would you possibly want to spend 10k a month on absolutely nothing ? Because quite frankly that's what you'd be purchasing , he appreciates pre existing will not be included , it's all a giant web of deception , if he/ she " has " to have something , consider it a tax and why the cheapest .

This " friend " would be completely wasting their money either way , best to avoid altogether .

Yes , you are confusing two elements you don't have to do the 65 k , if you do the 800k in the bank account , so you have that well and truly covered , easy , If you did wish to do the 65 k , then ( obviously ) no , but it's one or the other .

@Sophia *******
well for myself I'd say Hua Hin for sure , depends what you want . With the other just don't spend good money chasing bad , just not worth the grief and pain .

@Sophia *******
good on you ..

As long as it's enough to chase this is the key , it's extremely difficult in Thailand .

Who were the executors of the will ? And what's the $$$ value , these are the questions ? And the first you'd be asked anywhere .

It's certainly possible , but you certainly don't want a Thai lawyer for that , seek an Australian lawyer . Depending on how much we are talking , your brothers transactions are fraudulent.

Yep digital nomad is good , so you should easily be able to make the amount I've stated , after getting the Visa , and the variables of transport and accomodation .

So in that case there is no answer , other than the more the better so you can invest , and in case you want to leave .

So , I'd hold it as invested savings . Good luck ..

As long as the income matches the figures I mentioned which it should easily , it can be done .

You need an income , so savings must NOT be spent they must be producing income , easy rule of thumb MINIMUM ( can spend whatever you like in the top ) after transport and rental ( variables ) you need 10 k baht per week ..After rental / trans .

So if you are going to have a car , and decent accomodation that equates to 65 k baht min , on the assumption you will drive .

So the important figure 10 k min per week , plus us ..again minimum, if you cannot do that , DONT do it , simple , you are expected to live this way as a minimum.
