Do you think you can get a new USA passport in three days? Unlikely.

What will you do when it expires? How will you be able to travel anywhere?

You should think about getting back home quickly!

Also try to do online check in for the second flight.

You can visit any of the neighboring countries during your vacation in Thailand.

I used to do this all the time and use Thailand as a base for a three week trip.

All you need is your passport, a ticket back to USA and 20,000 baht cash…although no one ever asked to see my money ….

You do need a visa to visit Vietnam. Get it online from the government website.
