Central World Plaza has a few second hand watch shops as well as MBK.

No import tax is involved as those are dealt within Thailand.

I bought some 60's Omega in decent condition.

Rolex and Carter are not the best deal compared to Tokyo, but I have no idea about UK market.

 My visa expired during the Covid as I couldn't enter Thailand.

Now I got LTR which I am totally happy with😊

Time deposit for 10 years. Never had any problem at BKK immigration (till 2022)
