LTR - wealthy pensioner question

Anyone knows if we can include income generated from Thai real estate (in the form of rental) as Personal Pension income to fulfilll annual 40K USD or 80K USD criteria?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquirer is seeking clarification on whether rental income from Thai real estate can be included as Personal Pension income to meet the financial requirements for the Wealthy Pensioner category under the Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa. Responses indicate that according to the Thailand Board of Investment, unearned income such as rental income can be considered, supporting the inclusion of rental earnings towards the annual income criteria.

I think it should, I was in a similar situation but then opted for the elite to have more freedom of investment (in my case).

This is from the Thailand Board of Investment website for the wealthy pensioner LTR

“Personal income under LTR : Wealthy Pensioners’ definition is “unearned income such as a pension, rental, capital gain, dividend, etc”.
