it was suggested that the Visa was forged. Look back at the comments. I can also tell you that from my personal experience it was quite simple to escape from what you describe as a web of corruption. I did so mainly because I preferred to pay 1900 baht for my extension instead of

baht. Dont argue with me anymore because I know I am right and you are wrong but you will probably continue to perpetuate your incorrect information.

@Michael ******
that's most likely because they dont have or dont want to have the necessary funds in a thai bank account.

I had no problem with my local office save for new passport but I have to agree with you that it is better to do it yourself if you can. In the middle of covid, when I suddenly found myself unable to get back to the UK, an agent was my only option to get a long term Visa extension and they did an excellent job.

you clearly stated that "there is no way out if it" which is not correct. In addition a good agent does not forge the extension stamp. It is put into your passport by an immigration officer and signed up by an immigration officer in an immigration office and is as legitimate as any other stamp. The only thing that could go wrong is if they ask for your bank statements at 90 day report or in some other visit to immigration but I have never heard of that happening. Personally the only issue I had was having to go back to the office that issued my stamp to get it moved to a new passport but other than that it was plain sailing with what you call a forged stamp. I even left and re entered The Kingdom with it. Now I have got it myself from my local office. At best your comments are misleading.

I post information based in personal experience during my time in Thailand so I know it is 100% fact in my case but I know other offices can apply the rules differently or even apply different rules.

completely wrong. If you meet the criteria for getting the Visa yourself then you can no matter how many times you have used an agent. I dont know why people like you keep posting false information.

your driving license has your passport number on it. Some hotels don't file tm30 and some do. I had one filed using my license to check in.

thank-you, that is very helpful. The changes may well have been discussed widely but there are around

3 different interpretations and those are only the ones I found on Google.
