Nick - doesn’t sound right; how can you open an account on a 30 day exempt visa and season it prior to applying for the 90 day O?

Thanks - so basically get the 90 day, and make sure the money is deposited within the first 30 days..

When will flights from London to Thailand reopen and what will immigration control look like?

NO cross border from Thailand to Vietnam, and if/ when it opens, Vn will only give 30 day visas which then require Border Runs To renew, not extensions. Quarantine is a different matter both sides. When? STOP asking - it will be announced.
