TLDR : Answer Summary
No, your Filipino girlfriend cannot quarantine in Chiang Mai. She will need to quarantine in Bangkok as that is where international flights land, and currently, there are no direct flights to Chiang Mai. After her quarantine in Bangkok, she may be allowed to home quarantine in Chiang Mai, but procedures and policies related to COVID-19 can vary, so checking with the relevant authorities is crucial. In addition to quarantine, she may need an STV visa and proof of accommodation for her stay.

I hope she’s a Filipina - or you went to the wrong bar...

She needs to check with her embassy. I think she will need to buy the STV Visa if it’s even still available, pay for 14 quarantine in advance, and prove proof of paid housing for the next 60-90 days after quarantine. Your lease may work. Lots of hoops, paperwork and cost involved. Good luck.

You can book her a private plane waiting and when she reaches bangkok airport transfer to Chiang Mai..this procedure have to apply for permission..

Pay 3000 dollars 15 days Quarantäne same Jail in Bangkok Control at Government and 14 Days Qurantäne in Chiang Mai.

Thai Womens so Pretty and alot Cheaper no need Quarantäne. Save many Money and Paperwork Stress to.

So you are like Thai women then? Love with your wallet. Because, real feelings, well if you fell for a woman, it is for her personality, not ehr nationality or making it always easier. If my girl comes back, well she stays, she not goes back any more. I lost my pension, waiting for her, but that is another story...

I know my gf 10 years. She is living with me. But she went home at the wrong moment, because her father was dying of cancer and could not get back. If you find a serious Thai woman, I am happy for you. If she has a serious job, she is one of the few. I know a lot guys who came to Thailand and now are very sad. Either they live with an easy girl, who just improve their lives, either they are alone, as contact, certainly pas 60 is very hard with a more serious woman. Then if they are available to you, they do have most of the time children. We do not have together. In general, communication is more easy with Philippine women too. And even younger one's not mind being with an older man, and are sometimes even proud of the attention. I fooled around a lot when I was younger, with Thai girls, and they are mostly fine for that, if you are on holiday in popular places. But when meeting Philippine girls, it is another world, other kind of relation. WHich again, not mean, you could not find a pearl in Thailand...

Hi Chris Gade. My girlfriend is in quarantine in Bangkok, coming from Philippines. I done all procedure for her. It is very confusing, be well advised. We almost failed, because wrongly informed, how to get the fit to fly for instance. I made one mistake to indeed book in Bangkok, as living in Pattaya area. But the Pattaya hotels, not offered refund in case of no show. Chang Mai seems difficult. Be aware of many things. You need a lot to get her out. If the Thai embassy would allow COE now without visa, is unsure. If your girl not has the equivalent of 100.000 bht on her account, I suggest you go to the Philippine embassy in Bkk, and get affidavit of support. I went that way. Be aware. If your girl not left the Philippines before, Philippine immigration can offload her. Even before covid, my girl flew with a lot of documents to prove our relation. All depends on the officer goodwill though. I had another affidavit of support for Philippine immigration. Although before it was not necessary, some request a CFO certificate now. Is not expensive to obtain. You have to register on their site though. Be also aware, to start processing a month before intended travel. Processing of visa is 5 working days, and 1 st day not count. Only after obtaining the visa, she can apply for COE, that can take a week. CFO only send certificate, after seeing the visa, but you can register before and get other things done, like interview, sending proof of relationship before. Be also aware, that all can be ruined if one of the countries decide that non essential travel is suspended. My girlfriend is as said in Bangkok and it now a thriller, if she be allowed to join me in Pattaya area, due to covid measures. You owe me a drink though, sending you this message in the middle of the night

No. If she flies in she’ll fly in to Bangkok and will have to quarantine there ( or very close car ride from there). You cannot fly / transit internally.
