Banking is a business not a free service. You drive a car pay for fuel pay to use electricity & gas pay to go on public transport some even pay to sleep with women the list goes on. Here's the thing dont use a bank if your whinging abouf paying for the privilege

insurance companies are a business to make money not give money away. They prefer to insure young healthy people not old liable people

not true I tried that and was refused and given a 60 day extension ( to visit family @ 1900bt ) for funds to be in 1 account for 2 months so all monies must be in only 1 account for immigration requirements as multiple accounts won't do it. I had several accounts at the BKK bank and supplied the required letters too and refused...Been here 10 yrs.

Get any Thai bank you can and Wise will be fine
