yes, I might move back. But my registration is almost do. Do they need a tm30 or certificate of residency? If not, I think it is easier for me just to go to Pattaya and pay for the registration.

I think ssi will suspend your payment if you leave the country for more than 30 days.

you better check the law on ssi. If you leave the country you might not get it.

I think it is best if you just do online college and finish it. By the way, you might want to reconsider moving here as an expat woman. You will have a hard dating life and the quality of men are the bottom of the barrel. Thailand might be paradise for 2 months but the challenges are not worth it after that. This is just a warning, please really think it through.

As any student at Duke Language School, they hate going to immigration every few months. It is a waste of a day. I swear I have made like 6 trips total to CW and it is the literally the worst place in Thailand.

So I went to the same journey that you will most likely go through 2 years ago. Did the 1 year ed visa, best thing ever, because the Thai girls love my Thai now. Now I am on dtv. But you have to be careful. Once you live here then you can never move back. The east is where the action is right now. Also, I am stupid so I spend about 5k usd a month living here. You can get away with 2k a month but it is not the same. If you don't have over half a mil usd saved up then I recommend you work a few more years. Message me if you have any questions.

here is the truth. If she wants to buy a place in her hometown then it is fine. But avoid the condos in Bangkok and Pattaya. Too many people launder money out of China and Myanmar and use it to buy those condos. They are worthless and the prices will crash.

that's my point. Just pay it outright buying it in her name. No need for a loan.

Wait? What? I am very confused. She wants to take out a loan on her name to buy a property for only 1.5 mil baht. She needs to talk to her relatives on how to squeeze money out of farang. She definitely been out of the country too long. But do the right thing, if she is your wife and have been with you for a long time, just pay thing outright. It's like only 45k usd.
