you need agency with recognised translator by your embassy. We did all ourselves, got all the paperwork, but from there, the agency took over, to legalize the documents and for appointment in townhall

If you stay here only to get married, you make it yourself difficult. We live here, so if it is longer, not matter that much. If you marry and bye bye Thailand, know that the Thai marriage certificate has to be translated again to the embassy if your husband and eventually yours. Otherwise you be only be legally married for Thai administration. I not understand the use of getting married here, if not staying here. I got my marriage legalised by Belgian embassy, but not Philippine Embassy as more complicated again an not much use.

you need your documents, birth certificate, Cenomar apostled in the Philippines by DFA. Waiting vtime there was 3 months. Then go to Philippine Embassy, waiting time, for appointment, one month. Then papers issued, 2 weeks. Then you need the documents from both embassies translated and approved, the make appointment at townhall. You need a visa of some kind, as you stay here. I had retirement, my wife ed visa.

We went to live here, as getting Schengen visa, was hell, and we love both Thailand. We have a normal relation of 10 years now, so the dessert was not an issue

Officially yes, 90 days, after arriving. They not check that, only the validity of the permet itself. For insurance is another matter.

And costly. Could be done in a week, time for Belgian embassy to deliver.
