 Why pay for and enter on a Tourist visa? Just get the Non Imm O in the UK, much easier!

You need 800k in a Thai bank account to apply for the initial non imm O visa in Thailand. The 65k per month is for the yearly extention of stay.

Which is more advantageous: the 65k baht per month visa or the 80k baht per month income verification option in Thailand?

Minimum income 65k Baht per month is for a yearly extention of stay based on being 50 or older. There's no 80k Baht per month option AFAIK. There is a minimum income 40k Baht per month for guys married to a Thai citizen.
