If u intend to stay more than 60days..you must apply for the Special tourist pass STV. If u staying less than 60days, since USA is visa exempt, u just only need to apply COE to enter thailand, u must need a return ticket for this trip

The company hire you, they should pay the fee for you..unless it's u collaborating with the agency to get a long-term visa and actually you are not working..
