I run a Muay Thai gym and we just got given the Northern Representative for the new sports authority of Thailands MMA association

We are told MMA will be accepted if the gym is registered with the MMA Association of Thailand

Wouldn't that be nice

Unfortunately it's all very vague

One embassy ok with 500k in the bank today the next wants a signed letter from the king!!!

Cambodia just gave my client a real run around. ( I run a muay thai gym) they are probably going to start asking for a signed letter from the King soon ... I don't recommend them anymore

Done hundreds with only a handful of requests for more documents

I just did a blog about this ( I own a muay thai gym)

In my experience the more corners you cut the more risk you take in being either denied or sent on a document request nightmare.

Yes some people got approved with a 1 month course but a 6 month course will be approved without relying on luck.

A soft power provider without all the proper documents may get through but the gym with all documents is a much safer option

Buy cheap, buy twice! Or maybe you get lucky

This means the gym is certified by the sports authority so should be ok if gym provide the certificate not just the plaque

Most embassys accept that certificate

But some are awkward and ask for

Board of boxing sport or ministry of education

My gym has the lot but most don't and it is not normal to hold all 3

I think the sports authority certificate is the main one requested though

So we are the gym we already provided
