Sorry for the stupid question (and if admin thinks it is really stupid please remove it) .... but if they have a Thai citzenship what would they worry about that visa in their non-Thai passport?

Aha .... did not know that. That explains why I could not login. I only used the website once a long time ago. So probably still the old system. Wonderful to know they have 2 not intergraded systems now.

Thanks for the direct link to the web-portal, it was hidden behind a banner that was difficult to get ride of. But I was not able to login. Weird because after 3 attempts I could login at the eService android App. But doing the 90 day report took me about 1 hour .... first not accepting the arrival information. The trick was filling in a space at the flight no. Then the next page for reasons unknown did many times just did go back to the start of the app (filling in every for the 20th times). But suddenly it all worked and I have now a pending application for 90 day report.

But with an onward ticket there is no reason to be rejected?

If he has a still valid Thai ID then he should be able to go any amphur and request copy birth certificate.

In all the years I did apply for it at various immigrations offices I have never been asked for. And this year at Nan Immigration office I did asked about it and they said "There is no law that tells you that you can not use the money after you applied for it. But .... in case you application is rejected it might be a good idea that you still have the full amount of money so you can re-apply again."

I think there are less as 100 western foreigners living in Nan province...and a lot of Lao. But for them it is a lot easier to stay here.

Wow amazing Thai immigration.... registered and applied this afternoon. And 1 hour ago it was approved. Made a print screen of de receipt of notification and printed that for in my passport.
