Just curious if anyone else has been asked to present an updated bank book during the under consideration period for a non O marriage visa? Due to return on 23 August to collect my visa. Out of the blue today I get a call asking me to bring a copy of my bank book updated today ๐ค.
TLDR : Answer Summary
It is not uncommon for immigration offices in Thailand to request an updated bank book when you return to collect your NON-O marriage visa after the under consideration period. The requirements can vary by location; some offices, like those in Bangkok and Chang Wattana, often ask for it, while others may not. Responses from the community indicated mixed experiences: some reported being asked for an updated statement while others have not during similar processes. It is advisable to keep the full amount of money in the bank as a precaution in case your application is rejected.
